Started in 1980, The Gardener’s Center and Florist is a second-generation, family business based in Darien, CT. As a community mainstay, our business was built on and sustained by excellent personal service and carefully selected plant material. Our knowledgeable teams have been helping local gardeners for decades, and we are grateful to continue this tradition.

We are constantly evolving to reflect the changing needs of our customers and of our planet. Our team embraces responsible and sustainable gardening with an emphasis on creating a living, biodynamic soil structure that helps to naturally ward off pests and diseases, while requiring no artificial supplements. We proudly feature a wide selection of pollinator friendly and locally grown, native plants that need minimal amendments to thrive in our area. Most recently, The Gardener’s Center and Florist earned our Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) certification, reflecting our commitment to organic, sustainable gardening.
